The Museum of Ice Cream: Trying All 7 Ice Creams

"You can't buy happiness, but you can buy ice cream and that's pretty much the same thing."

Last night my best friend, Mikaela, and I bought all of the new Museum of Ice Cream flavors from Target and taste tested them. We wrote out our thoughts, and gave each ice cream a score out of 5 ice cream cones. These flavors are officially available in Target stores starting Sunday, July 8.

Vanillionaire:

Sabrina's Score: 🍦🍦🍦
Mikaela's Score: 🍦🍦🍦

Vanilla is the most basic ice cream v=flavor, which makes it basically impossible to mess up, this one is different because it is extra creamy and smooth. Mikaela and I both agreed that the wafers really elevated the flavor.

Chocolate Crush:

Sabrina's Score: πŸ¦πŸ¦
Mikaela's Score: πŸ¦

Both Mikaela and I don't love this chocolate flavor, and that is because it has a chalk like texture to it. I personally think that it tastes like a chocolate protein powder.

Cherrylicious:

Sabrina's Score: 🍦🍦
Mikaela's Score: 🍦🍦🍦🍦

This ice cream tastes exactly like a maraschino cherry, that is exactly why I hated it and Mikaela LOVED it. We were both skeptical due to the Pepto-Bismol color, but the flavor, taste wise and name wise, are both reminiscent of childhood.

Sprinkle Pool:

Sabrina's Score: πŸ¦πŸ¦πŸ¦
Mikaela's Score: πŸ¦πŸ¦πŸ¦

This is your simple vanilla ice cream mixed with fun and colorful rainbow sprinkles to embody the best part of The Museum of Ice Cream.... the Sprinkle Pool. All together the ice cream was good and the pop of color was a fun addition.

PiΓ±ata:

Sabrina's Score: 🍦🍦🍦
Mikaela's Score: 🍦

It is really hard to find the words to describe this flavor, it has so much going on in one container my tastebuds were honestly confused. It was just overwhelming between the fizzing cotton candy and the circus animal cookies. I will say that vanilla was the right ice cream base for this because of how much was going on inside. Mikaela did say that this one had the cutest packaging.

Nana Banana:

Sabrina's Score: 🍦🍦
Mikaela's Score: πŸ¦πŸ¦πŸ¦

I have to preface my rating with the fact that I am allergic to bananas, but Mikaela really liked this flavor because it tastes exactly like banana bread. It's reminiscent of comfort food, but it's a hard flavor to eat a lot of at one time.

Churo Churo:

Sabrina's Score: πŸ¦πŸ¦πŸ¦πŸ¦
Mikaela's Score: πŸ¦πŸ¦

This was my favorite flavor, but Mikaela and I both agreed that it is also a flavor that after a couple of bites is very sweet and we needed a break. The flavor was dead on, it tastes exactly like a churo.

As an overall experience it was fun to try the different ice cream flavors that Museum of Ice Cream came up with. I will say the packaging is something that really pulls my eye into the product and I think makes it a great prop for a summer photo shoot.
